When I moved house recenlty I had my phone line cancelled but because the karoo connection was still paid for it still worked for 2 months.

I wonder.... If I cancel my phone line (which I dont use and cost me £30 a quarter, would they ever notice I was receiving and paying for broadband without a phone line?

Do the two departments actually talk to each other? Your thoughts....

Similar thing happend to me, when I was at uni living with a group of mates, we just left our house without actually canceling the contract, moved into a new house which by chance still had adsl coming down the line, plugged the router in and got connected without KC ever knowing that we moved or picking up on it. But then on the opposite side my mate didn't pay his phone bill, and got his phone cut off, they disabled his broadband even though his internet account was paid upto date, and they said in order to have internet you need to have a fully paid/functional phone line.
