Do we have a conflict of interest here I wonder with Richardmyers now moderating on a contentious forum, maybe he would be better off sticking to one or the other, in my view anyhow.

I've not seen anything to suggest that he has acted unfairly. I'm sure Rich is perfectly capable of moderating properly and consistently. He's made his own criticisms of NextGenUs in the past when it has been warranted.

Nope. I was involved with helping NGU launch in Hull initially, when they launched fully in the early months of this year we parted company as there wasn't a place for me in the company.

But believe what you will, I have nothing at all to hide.

i got booted to lol

We should form a club! - Has anyone else left because of the FUP change?

While I do believe that Richard is trying his best to be impartial its an impossible situation to moderate both the FB page for NGU and also here. Whatever he does he will be wrong and he should decide which one he continues with.

This may indeed be factual RichardMyers, however, I to have noticed that as of late many threads or topics in regards to NextGenUs have been terminated for unknown reasons. As I cannot understand why many of these discussion's were abruptly seized it seem as if the only possible explanation points to that of concern with other people's opinions. For example, in regards to the various subjects and topics in-which praise NextGenUs these seem to be untouched while those who are the counter equivalent of this are quickly removed. If we applied the logic you use as an excuse for these actions mostly every topic created on the Karoo forums since 2007 would have to be locked due to it serving its own purpose.

And as HighTreason has stated I am on nobodies side other than my own.

My opinion is that if Rich wants to moderate for NextGenUs then that's OK, as long as he continues to moderate in a fair manner here there's no issue. I think most people appreciate that people take the opportunity to volunteer and keep these forums running along...

OK, as Rich has asked me to revoke his moderation privileges I will do so. I must say however that personally I don't think Rich compromised himself here. Anyway I'm closing this thread because to be fair, it isn't going anywhere. If you want to complain about NGU - and it looks like many of you have good reason - then please create threads a little more constructive than 'stir pot room'.
