Can someone tell me why they need to remove my ADSL faceplate?
I told them i had one installed back when we had KIT and they insisted that they send an engineer out to remove it as its not suitable for the service even though i had previously used it with the ADSL/ADSL2 service for years! Great looks like i'm going to have to buy my own filtered faceplate ontop of the £54 paid to KC for my first month. Huh? Roll Eyes

The old KIT ones can ( but not always ! ) cause problems with ADSL2+

Just get them to replace it with a newer ADSL Faceplate.....if the engineer whinges just tell him that this was ok'ed with Customer Services/Sales.

If you are sentimentaly atatched to the old KIT one then ask the engineer to leave it and you can fit it back after he's gone.

Just unplug your phones...then you don't need one.. Smiley

Or PM me your address and I'll get my mate to drop one off.

You can pick a filter up from ASDA for a few quid.

Yeah I understand that lol.

Those filters seem to last forever, you could burrow one tonight, and dig it up again in 200 years, and it would still be good to go.

Not that you would need it!
