Will we ever be able to have two or more pieces of equipment running open NAT simultaneously or is it possible already?

Someone did post on the FB group about this a week or so ago, I'll try and find it but the sheer number of posts won't make it easy! It might be a good idea to post this on the FB group also.

it isn't unless you forward the specific ports or have multiple internet connections. for instance i have two net connections well three if you count my 3g modem all shared via multi-wan, so in theory i can have three consoles set to DMZ.

I don't know how the gear NextGen use works, but I expect they are using a standard cable router.

You can have NAT from multiple devices, but you need to know the Port Numbers and the IP Addresses for the devices before you set them up in the router.

For example, on my ADSL connection, I was hosting FTP and HTTP from seperate servers (192.168.0.1:21 and 192.168.0.2:80) -until the server died, but that is not relevant, in theory you can get several NAT devices to work from one router, but you will NOT be able to place multiple devices in a DMZ.

Edit: As we're on the "post-count-whoring" I've just achieved 700 posts... Hmm... Unfortunately, it looks like SMF doesn't allow moderators to modify post-count.
