Has anyone noticed the new Youtube layout as-of-late, I am just wondering what your thought are on this new design in-which Google has come-up with. Personally I cannot stand this new design as seems to run incredibly slow apposed to what was available before. Not only that it seems that Google wishes to deprive you of many features in-which we have all become accustom to over the year's, for instance within the new update many tools related to customization have been removed in favor for one specific design in-which cannot be altered. This seems like a step in the wrong direction as it is anything but an update in my perspective.

It just irritates me that things change so much, if its working fine as it is, leave it!

The only complaint i have is that it no longer marks the videos you have watched. Bit of a pain when the channels i sub to post multiple vids during the day.

It seems YouTube is now forcing the crappy new interface on it's users, as the /home url no longer gives you the old layout.

The site hasn't been right since after 2007.

How do you make a video 480 by default? I noticed they stopped fmt=18 from working a while ago, are URL manipulations still possible?
