That article is with regards to TalkTalk retail customers and the article is correct in it's assumption that most of the complaints are relating to TalkTalk's handling of mergers. We had a slight issue with payments some time ago due to the accounts been moved from Opal to TalkTalk so I would be classed as a complainant. However when I researched further I discovered that with most of the companies they have bought/merged with they have kept on all of the existing staff and tried to re-train and integrate their systems over time, obviously this will cause problems.

As for fibre circuits TalkTalk now has the largest fibre circuits in the UK, just wish they'd get more exchanges etc and cut Openreach out of the loop as this is where many of our issues arise.

So far our experience with TalkTalk fibre is an overall positive one, our account manager is amazing and the one main issue we had (we were told the fibre would be late) I took to the top and Dido Harding herself dealt with it and it was delivered on time.

I don't see this thread been in our area of the forum as a problem though it would be more relevant if it was actually about fibre or at least business connections not standard retail operations mainly caused by TalkTalk's attempts to grow and retain jobs for the companies they take over.

@Joe - good reply, which is exactly what I would expect of you and clears a lot of this issue up.

My original post was really about several things (backhaul for fi-wi suppliers in Hull and the duality/multiplicity of services) - most probably each deserving a separate thread of their own.  And yes, it was also done to stir things up a bit and get some views from people - that's how you begin to get a discussion and learn things and hopefully to get a response from SBB themselves to explain things and give their perspective ... which is why I think it sat very nicely in the SBB forum - and following the whole of the discussion of the thread would enable perspective adult customers to draw their own conclusions and I think that the post by Joe stands SBB in good stead in this discussion.

i think karoo are alot worse then talk talk at the minute after all you left karoo for SBB galli so if karoo are alot better you would'nt of left them in the first place i think your just wanting to pick bad faults on every provider myself

@nicknack - I did a post as to why I left Karoo and went to SBB.  I think the fact that I went back to Karoo after doing that post shows the extent of the problems that I had with my service at SBB (it may not reflect the service of all SBB's customers but I am only bothered about my service not that of others).  Karoo are far superior to SBB in reliability and wired is far superior to wireless in reliability and security ... but people weigh up their own situations and needs and as I have always posted on here I believe that there is always going to be a demand for wireless.

@Scotty - I still do not think that the post should have been moved (Joe and SBB are big enough to defend themselves) and I do not think that it is in your remit of moderator to look to protect any service provider - this only discourages future discussions and posts.  In fact the original post was only a few hours old - no one had complained about it.  It was balanced and encouraged discussion, embracing wider issues.  What you "feel" is "unfair" is actually totally irrelevant and should not dictate moving a post in which quite clearly, quite a few people feel should not have been moved - including Joe.  Moving the post has caused more controversy than the original post.

Look at all the negative posts about NGU - many from members who have never been NGU customers - and arguably totally irrelevant to NGU service. I think once you move posts that you "feel" are "unfair" then you are only creating a precedence that you have to follow in all other situations - otherwise it is unfair on the other providers.

I value your comments, and will evaluate the sitation more throughly next time something like this arrises.
The opening post is regarding Talk Talk fixed broadband service complaints, and not Sure Broadband wireless internet, that is why I moved it.

Now this thread has gone massively off-topic, so for any extra input regarding the movement of this thread, send me a private message.

i agree with ya scotty this is the right thing about this topic been removed anyways the people that are wanting to talk about talk talk are none customers themselfs cause im not intrested in the convo about talk talk and having the most complained about like dylan and scotty have said its nothing to do with SBB if there hardwired services have most complaints if i have a complaint about how SBB are doing things i complain to them and not to talk talk but ive no complaint on either of them i think you need to go to a talk talk forum and discuss there problems and not to SBB cause the problems that talk talk customers are complaining about is nothing related on how SBB are doing things
