Hi all, apologies if the title is pants lol anyways

i've been checking my usage on a regular basis since upgraging to the fibre optic stuff and my first month i had downloaded way over 500GB .. Games.. lots and lots of games *Legit* World of Warcraft and the likes lol *nerd*

so that was expected, 2nd month it hit the same.. all excessive downloading had stopped.. and then same with this month.. its over 500GB again.. and im confused.. no-one has hijacked my WiFi, as i keep a regular check on that, unless people can hide somehow? any ideas if it could be on there side?

could the actual amount of online gaming contribute that much towards it? considering i spend like 70% of my time doing that like 10+ hrs a day? and as far as im aware, the youtube vids i watch are either 360p or 480, soo they shouldn't be to much. either way i feel like im just using it like i normally do and then before the fibre it was only 50 - 70gb usage a month

regards,

Daniel

Is this the KC usage counter or your own usage counting software?

Daniel - as I understand it you are on a trial for fibre, maybe Karoo are also making tweaks and adjustments to the way that fibre usage is monitored.

Btw 500gb is nothing to be concerned about, last month I hit 1.2tb.

Can you tell us more about the new fibre based 'Karoo Packages' are they more like MAX or like 'Pro'

I have kept on the MAX options as i prefer to have unlimited usage during the day as opposed to the night, if it's just like MAX all over again, i'll upgrade as soon as it's available.

@David - Hi, there is not much to say really i mean as i understand there are no packages relating to KC fibre at the moment, im on a trial with them for four months testing the capabilites and such and for the purpose i was given unlimited usage.

hopefully more will be explained in the upcoming weeks about packages.
