Having yet again more problems with KC at the moment, The Singal to noise ratio keeps bouncing around and causing problems , no matter what profile the line is on.

Anyone got any ideas?

Its down to 2 probable causes if all is well internally - Filters working /connected OK etc

- KCOM have moved your DSLAM port to another concentrator /exchange  - IE further away

OR

More cables in the same duct create more noise during peak traffic periods

OR BOTH

Ask them to change the port at the exchange as this could be faulty - unlikely if you have already reported the problem.

This is happening to quite a few of us.

All down to KCOM resourcing and cost cutting

Regards
