This 'private equity' rumour will be a disaster for Hull and East Riding customers imo, they just want to milk a cashcow basically and ideally they would be looking to strip what is good about KCOM, ie Affinity etc and leave us stuck up sh*it creek without a paddle I suppose with the prospect of being milked for the forseable.

We need a proper telco or service provider to take KCOM over, I really hope we don't go down the private equity route personally. Sad

In many ways I must agree with Stormy

However if a private equity company drained everything out of kcom could we then see kcom selling out to bt?

I agree with Stormy on the milking bit..  we have been milked for so long its the norm..

If i were an investor i would want to keep the status quo for as long as possible.  A captive audience is perfect to extract money from ;o)

hmmm - where are my shares in KC?  I may go and dig them out..

Or being bought out by a local mutually owned ourNGN cooperative...

Honestly, I hope KCOM simply die and get absorbed by BT, even if that means a painful experience at the hands of private equity.

That's a tad harsh! - I for one do not want any private equity shite getting a hold of KC!

I'm sure others will agree!

If anyone it needs to be another telecom company.
