Is anyone else in Beverley having issues with the ADSL connection? Mine has dropped 4 Times today, Its got a healthy noise margin; So i cant see why it would disconnect ?

Any answers appriciated.

never disconnects at all here (city center) actually very impressed with the stability. if only it was a decent speed..

was thinking of moving to beverley, though im hearing some horror stories about the kcom there!

Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR)

The SNR only applies to wireless broadcast from the wireless transmitter of the router to other wirless devices in the area.

IT does not measure SNR from the KCOM network to the router over the ADSL line - A common misconception

You have SNR problems on the line at certain times your bandwidth may need to be capped to create a stable connection

what stats were you looking at which lead you to that conclusion?? i cannot see any?

if you call KC about it they will just put you on a slower profile, weigh it up against the disconnects.

i take it you have tried removing the ring wire, and all the usual snr tweaks?

would it be possible for anybody to PM me the postcode of the beverley exchange?
