Hello

 is any body having slow speed since the weekend used to get about 6000kb/s now its les than 1000 - 1500kb/s and it takes 5 sec to open bbc home page. even karoo home page takes 4 sec to open this is at any time of the day
help desk say they is nothing wrong they say I can down load ok but surfing web is crap pages take for ever to load

yes, same here. Started monday or Tuesday. Can't watch streaming BBC news just keeps buffering. download speed is OK when downloading but takes ages to find the page. I noticed when doing a speedtest on speedtest.net that the test server has changed from Maidstone to Sittingbourne - is that  relevant?

What packages are you both on?

Also speedtest.net pics a random server for you to speedtest from just to level out and balance usage Smiley

no point doing  download tests from adsl guide because when i problems

i downloaded a file from there at 80k a sec but was getting 600k from ms

but 100k on newsgroups at 9am monday and same on tuesday

 I am on the new mid package been in touch with Tec support it something to do with lost packets if you ping the bbc web site or other web sites you get lost or long speeds they supposed to be looking at it but nothing  on the status page  yet speed check site's say slow but you can down load fast  just web pages are slow to load.

tried to get back in touch with Tec support last night but there where to busy

No problems in Brough either:



Been getting some good speeds since switching to Mid, although that might be pure coincidenc.e I know that's not much consolation.

im also on karoo max option 2. perhaps it is their plan to get us to change to their other plans :/

well i live on boulevard so i think i be on town exchange and i notice over last week that  i am getting disconnected from xbox live bout 7 times anight and speeds dropping to round a meg up till round midnight
