Notes: Sunday morning, nobody else in the house using the internet. I work in IT and I am reasonably confident that my PC is malware free. I rebooted my router and allowed it to settle for a few minutes.

I'm in HU15 2 and on Karoo Max Option 4.

[HU17 Karoo Pro]

Reasonably confident now that they are removing bandwidth from the Max platform, presumably to force people to switch to the newer packages.

Hmm, still bad. I just watched a news report on the BBC in 5 second chunks between buffering.

I posted the picture earlier as I thought it amusing that the test graph failed to load. Here's my results using a more standard tool.

Guess I'll see what it's like tomorrow  Sad

Can you post your modem/router stats? as their could be a reason for such a poor throughput.

I'm using a Draytek 2600vg
SNR: 19.5 Loop Attn: 20  Down speed: 6912000 Up speed 448000

Karoo pegged the downstream rate due to poor SNR when we moved in and that's the normal speed. It's very rarely this bad but I have noticed Sunday morning is not a good time in this area.

Follow http://www.dslzoneuk.net/socket.php?type=html and remove wire 3 (the ring wire) its not used anymore and acts as a aerial picking up interferance, might help stop snr drop outs.
