ADSL2+ - Post here is you have it!!!!

Can everyone on these forums post here if you actually have ADSL2+ now and the results your having?

Im on karoomid waiting for ADSL2+ to become active on my line, im based in brough HU15, as of yet im still connecting at 8mbps as i always have done.

now the weird thing is, that test was run at about 4am, I have just re-run the test at just gone 5pm when traffic used to be really slow for me, the results i got are almost identical:

Well I assume that not everyone will be on the ADSL2 system for a while, because their hardware won't support it, and they will fall back to ADSL.

So maybe for a change, the early adopters are better off with karoo...

Checked Router this morning and I saw the following stats

         9215 kbps         1023 kbps       
      Line Attenuation
            44.0 db         29.7 db
            Noise Margin
            8.6 db            9.3 db
Not too bad, lets see how it runs

In the HU5 area
Speedtest.net doesnt look good on the DL side of things though

god I hope they keep me on adsl, i'm getting 850k/ on everything at the moment.

i've not seen anyone with ADSL2+ and good connection speeds yet though?

perhaps they are upgrading people who aren't on the best lines at first or maybe the engineers are upgrading where they live first? who knows!

Hmm...

EDIT:

Now i don't want to pretend i know ANYTHING about connection speeds but in theory couldn't they up my line speed as my SNR is at 15 and can be stable at a bit lower than that?

He said that's most likely the max i will get. I'm happy as that's almost double my down and more than double my up

Malfius do the same test with the london server the maidenhead server is allways slow for me hu5 still on adsl  7.23 mbps
