anyone know what these are supposed to be? In the router setup as a guide it says 1500 or 1492, and to only choose lower if the ISP has instructed to do so. I also curious if these are different with adsl2+ or not.

Either way i have mine at 1492, but i can't remember if i changed it, i fiddled with just about everything in there at one point or another

Krapoo guide lines recommend 1500 and it is more efficient to match their maximum MTU that way you get more data per frame/packet. Make sure your PC's match the routers MTU as you could introduce extra overhead if there is a mismatch. You can check your PC's MTU with this little app http://www.dslreports.com/drtcp Dr TCP  Grin

wow thx, i scored an extra 85kbps downstream since making that small change.

Maidenhead seems stressed at the moment, frankfurt scores higher by around 3000
