Hey all

This is my 1st ever post in here, woohoo, well I arent that happy with the karooshite service.

I have been disconnected 9 times today.  Im using a router which has been running ok for a while up til today.  I bought my router 4 months ago, set it up and had a few teething problems but overall it work pretty well barring karoo.

I havent changed any setting on the router since I set it up, so when I rang karoo for the 9th time and told them that I keep on getting disconnected, all they could tell me was the same as the other 8 times. There was a supposed problem with the servers.

Luckily I have a few friends who live in other countries where hacking is ok although not a punishment by law, is still frowned upon.  I asked them to hack karoo and see what happened.

Fortunately they did this, I recieved a report back that they (karoo) use other service providers to boost their bandwidth.  Not surprising then that the servers keep crashing.

Well the reason Im pissed off is now it works ok and has done for about 30 minutes. So getting this post done before I disconnect again.

Been trying to play America's Army all day.  Couple of mates asked me to join them in a room, fortunately for them they live in other countries.

I hate karoo, I know I should not say this but some <edited by the mod... remember this is a family forum and some things are best not said online - try to keep on topic, your comments about Karoo are noted and you have a lot of empathy from these forums - welcome! >, then someone useful could come into hull and provide a better service.

9 Times after logging onto americas army server, and thats after logging onto the servers, not before.

Concerned.

Peace, Love & Unity

Mine too is stable, i am on the original fixed speed service though.  I have uptimes of months at a time.

And on a more personal note, I wouldn't admit to attempt to hack online.
[advice]
KCom are not so stupid as not to monitor activity on this forum (it would be in their best interest would it not..) and as such no doubt they have the IP address of every visitor.  Just be careful what you see in the public realm, my advice is don't say anything that you wouldn't be happy standing up in court and repeating.

On another note I think you should be barred from the service and these forums. I'm sure by "hacking" the network you caused detriment to every other user of these forums.

[all ISP's use other "services" to provide bandwidth?]

No-one got hacked.

This little kid probably asked some other little kid, probably going by the name of "1337 |-|4X0R" on msn to hack karoo. Who probably doesnt even know what html is.

I think karoo's servers are safe.
