The new thomson speedtouch router karoo sends [TG585 v7] is surprisingly good. BE unlimited use it also. I was expecting it to be dire!

It improved my snr/sync quite a bit from my old Safecom SWART 54108. (ar7)

The filter they send with it though is questionable. It is quite small!


edit: Am now using a bt home hub (v1.0) - is excellent?! (better stats) however WDS doesn't work with the tg585 and the home hub - very annoying! (same manufacturer!!)

ADSL24's guide doesn't mention ZyXEL. Their ZyXEL Prestige 660 Series use the Texas-Instruments AR7 chip, confirmed by both web-research and its Status screen (DSL Firmware).

Devices based upon TI benchmarked worst in those results, see www.linux-mips.org/wiki/AR7 for a list of such devices.
