Has anyone else noticed that they haven't received email since about 04:00pm?

Even sending email to my own address, from my own address is not being delivered........

Could someone at KCOM kick the email server please?

Looks like they fixed it at 2:00am but then it broke again, then fixed it again at 6:30am. It's working now.

I noticed the status page wasn't updated! Well at least we can keep a record of KCOM status here for them since they seem incapable of doing it themselves.

Yep noticed this, it seemed a bit delayed yesterday anyway with paypal notifications taking far longer than usual to come through... Then email stopped coming through all together.

I can't believe they haven't put anything on the status page.

At least they haven't lost them this time, in the past email = down, emails = lost, even though they sent an email promising it's not the case.

If they put it on the status page it makes it a problem, if they don't, all those who wasn't expecting an email don't know any better Cheesy

After the email Fiasco about 4 or 5 years ago when loads where lost and it was down for days, I never relied (or used!) it again.

You can put more faith in places like Hotmail and Gmail than Karoo.

Unfortunately my family still use it.

I used it for 4 years, since I setup my hosting business in 2007 I've been using my own exchange server.

I don't use the Krapoo email much either, however a lot of my family do and I have it set up as a backup.

Shame Krapoo don't monitor their systems better or choose not to inform their customers of planned down time. Surly it's worse for Krapoo's PR if the system goes down without warning, if it was planned then you should tell your customers and safe face  Roll Eyes

www.Lavabit.com  is an excellent free IMAP/POP email service - no spam and pretty secure.  No crappy ads / pretty good allowances too.

Been using it for years and it barely ever has a problem.
