Why do KAROO tie you into a contract when there is no competition to escape to?

I suppose it's because they might as well rather than not. The potential is there for competition, but as KCOM don't really have any at the moment, they might as well tie you in as you don't have any other choice  but to comply anyway...

It's probably a good strategy anyway given that companies are popping up offering alternatives to various KCOM telephone and internet services.

Also a contract for 12 months means even if you dont want or use your internet you still have to pay. So in one respect its a way of making sure they get plenty of money.

just phone karoo tell them ur not paying they might let it go for another month to get more money out off yea then pay the 70quid and your out of contract
