Not a bad day to bury bad news with the HDM printing 8 pages of Hull City beating West Ham.

Its happening all over though, I'm sure other companies have had to cut more than 38 jobs, we're currently living in bad times with the current economic crisis and unemployment being at its highest in years.

From what I have read (and the HDM comments section is scarcely a reliable source of information) some engineers have been made redundant, which is worrying. I'd be interested to read a more detailed breakdown of there the jobs have been lost.

This is bad news for the people of hull, not only job cuts, and the obvious potential to cut service levels. But there is also the problem of find another job in the same sector for these people.

Must be quite a disturbing time for people who work their in my opinion.  Cry

you have to feel sorry for the staff that has lost their jobs , we  give' em an hard time while their probably just following protocol set by pen pushers
good look to them finding new employment in a sector such as communications in hull
