Hi,

Just downloading Linux Mint to have another foray into the word of Linux but I have a couple of quick questions.

I have just partitioned my 2nd drive (300Gb) into two 150Gb partitions, I am in Vista at the moment so have created one 150Gb partition and formatted it NTFS. Will the second 150Gb unallocated space be viewable in Linux Mint as I can only format drives NTFS in Vista.

Also, if I get tired of Linux and it happened a while back it was damn hard to get rid of the GRUB loader, in the end I formatted the drive. With Vista I think things are even more problematic, so I may set the GRUB on the 2nd drive entirely and just switch between drives in the BIOS so not have to worry about dual booting one drive.

Thoughts?

Cheers,

Mike

PS: getting about 100-130Kb/s on the torrent for Linux mint (it started at about 20Kb/s) but I wish I could get it quicker, bloody krapooo Sad

That might be an idea. I've not tried a dual boot with Vista myself, but I've heard that Vista tries to rape your hard drive  Tongue
