 I want to test my router at our kids so he can see if it is better than his wirelessly, by plugging in at another address will it faff about with my settings or will it just plug in and work?

I am assuming that he is another Karoo customer with ADSL - if so it will just work - I usually set other peoples routers up at home before going round and connecting them.
