Hi guys,

Could people please post on here to let me know what they think of the DG834PN router, read a couple of reviews and have seen mixed opinions, Just wondered if people on here had one, and if so, what you think of them...

I have a Linksys WAG54GS, not sure if i'm getting the best connection with it, so thought i'd try another router to see if it connects better/drops connection less etc.

Any info would help and be much appreciated,

Not sure on the specific 'DG834PN' model, but the DG834 range generally has always been pretty rock solid

That's what i use..wireless to wifes laptop (108mb setting) through two floors of our house hardly loses any speed.I have had no probs so would recommend it.Also security is spot on and the flashing blue lights inform me as to when the wife (or if anybody is clever enough to compromise security) is accessing the net through the router.

blue flashing light...!!

wow - i want one...  (but only if its a really big blue light...), it sounds a great feature..

my router doesn't do that but it does have a cool feature of logging onto your email account and telling you how many emails you have.

It was great in 2002 when i got it  - but now, with the advent of spam, its run out of zeros!

Keep bidding on them on ebay, but keep getting outbid, seem to be pretty popular little routers, Or maybe i'm just a cheap skate and expect to get one too cheap haha.

IMHO, The best line stats are achived when connecting with a router installed with a broadcom chipset, Such as Thomsons, Belkins & i belive the new DG834G v4 has one.
