Hi
I came home from work on Wednesday, and my internet was down, I rebooted the router and it started working, now I am connecting at 8128 kbps, don't get me wrong, this is great I use to connect at 2304 kbps. I have not asked to be switched over, infact I have not been in contact with KC for months. I am just wondering why my connection as shot up.

ADSL Link Downstream Upstream
Connection Speed 8128 kbps 448 kbps
Line Attenuation 35 db 11.5 db
Noise Margin 11 db 21 db

Perhaps they fixed a fault with your line or profile...

You will only move over onto ADSL2+ if you have requested to be moved over onto a new package...

An easier way to tell if you have ADSL2+ is to check the upstream speed, it would usually be higher than 448kbps, (upto 1024kbps)

You`ll know when they have switched you over,
KCOM will have a night out on you seen as they have taken all
your money and signed you into a new contract without you knowing.
Thats when you switched over!
