The new help section at karoo isn't very helpful and is still containing dated information.

I'm trying to find out what the charges are for going over 75gb. It may be that i can't see the wood for the tree's, but searching for 'charges' 'usage limit" didn't bring up any other info than it would be charged.

http://www.karoo.co.uk/broadband/faqs.asp#over     .......a lot of trees, that's why they're charging a £1 for paper bills.

What happens if I go over my usage allowance? How much will it be if I go over my usage allowance?Your first usage period may cover more than 30 days. So to help get you settled onto your new broadband package – additional usages charges during this time is unlimited and completely free. Subsequent months will be charged accordingly. If you go over your usage allowance, you will be charged £2 per GB or part thereof if you're using Karoo Lite, or £1 per GB or part thereof if you're using Karoo Mid or Karoo Pro. The payment for additional usage will be added to your next monthly payment, which will be taken on or around 29th of the month. We will notify you in writing of the changed bill.

i.e...If you use 78.01gb you will be charged an extra £4 on your next months bill.

So if you used 175GB you'd get £100 on your bill! Ouch!   Shocked

There probably would be someone somewhere within Karoo's limits that stump up a charge.

Personally I think the packages are crap compared to other price packages from other networks.

I'm still on an older Karoo package simply because I still get the unlimited usage. They keep asking me to upgrade to the 10gb package saying I will be better off. Balls to that.

They told me I would be better off when they changed the quarterly bills. I once paid £22 pound max a quarter on line rental now I pay around £40 bloody quid. How I am ment to be better off Still baffles me.
