Yup, very slow for me at home and work, sometimes it speeds up and then suddenly it slows to a crawl.

It'd be better off getting moved to a decent UK server (currently hosted in the USA by the looks of it)

To whoever's site it is: PM me your email address and we can get it moved to a proper London datacentre free of charge if you want Wink

P*ss off Hobbis and Dom !!!  Grin

Chris - I'll get in touch soon ;-) I think the problem with reliability is due to the fact that Apache has been rebuilt and mucked about with too many times (I'm pointing at you Dom!) with various different options and I've not kept on top of sorting stuff out as much as I should! We're on a VPS, but there are various other sites chucked on and various projects that people have arsed about with.

I just haven't got time to do anything about it at the mo though  Huh?

meh.....

thats  it - blame the lack of configuration management!

tsk tsk..

i haven't touched Apache since the last time I touched it..

and all I did then was play around a little...!

You got no time?  what you doing? playing battlefield heros?

grrrr  Angry

Sorry about the outages - just up to my eyeballs with work right now. I will get it sorted though. In actual fact I saw the forum went down this morning and restarted Apache, I'm just struggling to find the time to actually debug the problem properly.

Any reason you use such an old version of Apache (1.3.37) the 1.3 series is old, 2.2.10 is out Smiley i need to upgrade mine from 2.2.09 to .10 sometime... dont want to break it though.

Whats it hosted on? If apache config is screwed maybe try making a new clearn one?
