Netgear DG834PN vs Linksys WAG54GS

Just bought a Netgear DG834PN after hearing good things about it, Hoped that it would improve my connection slightly, eek out a little extra speed..
Turns out my Linksys WAG54GS is far superior, which surprised me, i connect at 10300kbps with the Netgear DG834PN,
With the Linksys WAG54GS i connect at 11280kbps + with a better SNR margin..
Just thought i'd mention it, seems those people praising the Netgear DG834PN need to start praising the Linksys WAG54GS instead hehe,
Just as a further note too, the Mimo technology on the Netgear DG834PN is meant to be very good for helping your wireless range, But yet again, it turns out i get a much better signal from the Linksys, And before any asks, both the routers have the latest firmware..
Guess i'll have to package the Netgear DG834PN back up and resell it..

Did you set the netgear wireless mode to auto 108Mbps or just leave it in g & b mode.It gave a vast improvment in my wireless speed to laptop.

I'll be honest, i set it to g mode, simply because that is what you usually do, didn't realise its only 54mbps in b and g mode,
so your saying when set to auto, thats when it works with 108mbps? Seem's a bit daft if thats the case.
None the less, I get 1.5mb connection more with the linksys.. And at the end of the day, anything that improves my connection is good to me..
