Anyone know what the problems were in Beverley that had us off since 9.30am yesterday till today and just now again?
As usual their website says nothing.

Went to the exchange last night - no lights on at all. (yes I was that bored)

it's working this morning again but I doubt it'll last..... so angry

i figure if nobody was at the exchange they didnt even know, so no surprise nothing was on the status page

i was losing my DSL connection / getting messages saying that I had LCP timeout sending config requests AND a message saying bad username/password.

Connection has been up and down since about 9am Friday.

Status line does/did say that some Beverley customers are having difficulty connecting but nothing on the website.

Same here. I wasn't connected for longer than 20 mins at time over the weekend. I work from home and my productivity was severely affected.

I even went into work (York from Beverley) to download a firmware upgrade for my router, trying to troubleshoot it (BTW routertech.org firmwares are excellent).

II haven't had too many problems. There have been a couple of disconnections over the weekend but nothing that has impacted me very much.

Where abouts are you? I'm Beverley HU17, on a similar latitude to the morrisons roundabout. I've had an increasing number of disconnections and "LCP timeout sending config requests" in my router logs recently - but my connection has never been so bad as this weekend.

I don't even know where the Beverley exchange is. Anyone care to enlighten (Via PM if necessary)?

mine just hasnt worked since friday - I get disconnected every 15-20 minutes

Every now and again it goes for a couple of hours..

their helpdesk recorded message says they are working with their equipment suppliers to fix the problem, suffice to say it wont be fixed any time soon..

when it does work the speed is seriously slow too.

also, they stipulate on their helpdesk recorded message a "small number" of users in beverley. Whats the bet its every user in beverley? (again)

such a poor service, even when it does work it's got 3rd world speeds... makes me sick of living here... so expensive for what is essentially a 3rd rate service.

29.99 with only 75gig and under 5meg at peak? complete joke. compare it with the deals you can get elsewhere and it is seriously inferior

was getting 13 meg on speedtest last night but under 100 on everything else............ con

they may well be the "fastest isp" in the "mid tier" packages - but to be frank I dont care about the mid tier - their "good" package is the worst I have ever experienced. I hope the "samknows" test that ofcom are conducting really SHAMES this i"s"p.

why not just add a tenner and MAKE IT DECENT i would pay up to 50 a month for internet i could ACTUALLY USE

I had to resort to dial-up last night to work. DIAL UP in 2008. this company makes my life a misery.

I'm just off Norwood, near the railway line. I'll try and work out how to get meaningful logs from my router (routertech) and see how many disconnections I'm getting.

You have a PM.

I phoned them again today when my service was down YET AGAIN, steady service for weeks and now after the weekend up and down like a prossies drawers and guess what? IT IS MY EQUIPMENT and it has cost me 1 meg in speed.
Their customer support is going downhill yet again, after the weekend my line has become unreliable but their service is fine, where have I heard that old chesnut before?

ive given up using the internet at home. not a lot of point using it really when I only get between 1 and 6mb at peak. what can you do with "up to" 6mb? pointless. takes me so long to download anything.

looking to move away from the area now because i cant live with it any longer!
