OK I have screwed my modem up by upgrading to DGT team software today, since then I have not been able to access it from 192.168.0.1.
I can telnet and ping the modem tho with no problem, I have also tried to restore the origional Netgear config via rescue software that Netgear supply.
Anyone help me with this please?

Netgear recovery won't even touch it and YES I have put the origional image in same folder.
Is there any other software that can access the modem, or does anyone know a link that is idiot proof to do it by telnet?

Use putty to ssh http://the.earth.li/~sgtatham/putty/latest/x86/putty.exe
User: root
Password: what ever you set it to

then enter the command
command manage http local on

If that doesnt work, tried rebooting the router?

Yipeeeeeee got the bugger working again. 30 minutes with tech support from Netgear with a very nice Indian chap who obviously wanted me running again, anyhow he said I needed to try it on another computer which I did, fired up on 3rd computer I tried. I am now a happy bunny, thanks to all who tried to help.
