I sent them an email saying it was slow, and I couldn't watch iPlayer again, even though they supposedly fixed it with the 21st December upgrade.

Carl, on their helpdesk, replied saying if I provide evidence they will investigate Huh?

I seem to think I pay them, not the other way around, if I say it's slow, it's slow.

It's pathetic.

What evidence do they want as I was tempted to complain again?

The last 2 nights the streaming issues I had a while back on the BBC News site have reared their ugly heads again. I sometimes can't even stream sport interviews without it buffering constantly. I was trying to listen to the BBC Humberside FA cup commentary on real player and thats only 44kbps or 64kbps and it wouldnt stream without buffering all the time.

Grrrrrr.. Its not my line because offpeak I get full speed on everything, its just crippled peak. I guess they want me to upgrade to ADSL2+ again lol.

Last time I sent them packet captures from Wireshark comparing speedtests, Microsoft, iPlayer and their own website.  The first three clearly showing packet loss (although they referred to it as packet delay).

But I can't be bothered go through this whole process again.

They proved there is a fault on the Max system because when they upgraded me to the new Pro package (and didn't tell me until after the tests) everything was perfect.
