From time to time, we have to make changes to your Karoo Terms and Conditions, to keep up to date with changes in our business and the provision of our services.

Below you will find a brief overview of the clauses that are affected by these changes and what this means to you.

Clause 8.5
We want to provide you with details regarding the changes we make to our products and services by the best means possible, in order to reach the widest possible audience.  As such, we no longer believe it is appropriate to inform you of such changes by issuing a public notice in the local press.  On this basis, we have amended clause 8.5 to enable us to communicate significant increases in our charges on our website and by sending notice of such changes to you by email, in the same way that we issue changes to the Karoo Terms and Conditions.  If you do not agree with the changes you are entitled to terminate your contract if you cancel your contract within 14 days of the date that we issue the notice of such changes to you. You should provide with 1 months notice of your intention to terminate your contract.

Clause 18
We have amended this clause to expressly state that we will provide notice of changes to the Karoo Terms and Conditions on our website and by sending notice of such changes to you by email.  This has been the standard process for communicating changes to the Karoo Terms and Conditions to you for some time.  However, the Karoo Terms and Conditions have not included such provisions.  In order to make the process consistent with clause 8.5, if you do not agree with the changes you are entitled to terminate your contract if you cancel your contract within 14 days of the date that we issue the notice of such changes to you.  You should provide with 1 months notice of your intention to terminate your contract.

I like how they may increase charges, but no mention of lowering charges :|

Well expect we will see prices increases in the future. Must want to milk the cash cow some more Smiley

Hopefully an alternative will appear eventually and we can use changes in tos to get out of contracts Tongue
