I've heard bt are buying out kc. Kc staff will be told this week that they will now be employed by BT. Can anyone confirm this news?

Something to do with outsourcing from KC to BT I thing you may find, there was something about it on here a few weeks back.

Are you thinking of the announcement that BT are to manage KC's network and infrastructure for them? There is a small mention of it at the end of this article on the HDM website.

I dont think you will see any difference in competition at all.
Basically all KC have done is outsourced their engineering work to BT. It does not mean that BT own the network or will have any say in who connects to it.
