Coming soon will be the first release of DiffProbe, which will detect if an ISP is doing different forms of discrimination (such as delaying and/or dropping traffic) on certain applications (such as Vonage, Skype, and BitTorrent), in addition to detecting rate limiting.

Looks intresting, Discrimination of traffic!

Has anyone tried:

It has multiple resources for Hyper-Threading technology which significantly improve the download speed. Besides, it’s Intelligent Disk Cache technology effectively prolong your Hard Disk’s lifespan from crashing due to the high speed download. Hi

Traffic shaping is being applied probably due to KCOM seeking to reduce their IP transit costs and taking less bandwidth and traffic downloading capability from their transit partners.

KCOM's model is based on people NOT USING THEIR ALLOWANCES !!!!

Less throughput (download) by customers means the less their paying BUT still charging people for their allowances within the tariff.

I moved away from the wonderful KCOM and Hull and have a service from Zen - no shaping, no blocking, no IPLAYER problems - UTOPIA !!! -

Sorry folks but if your not prepared for class action in Hull and complain about KCOM's illegal local call and line tying tariffing that OFCOM HAVE UNLAWFULLY ENDORSED you will never get any choice.

OFCOM WILL NOT ACT UNLESS THE PEOPLE OF HULL ALL ACT TOGETHER

Everyone needs to suport Fibrestream in its quest for WLR and LLU in Hull.

Si / Guy - only 5 months until Burtons shop window !!! - hope discussions are progressing well with the beancounters at that wonderful company   !!!!

PN
