Three 3G/HSDPA USB Modem

My wife uses a three modem she pays £8.32 a month for 5gb usage. She got a good offer because she's been on the three network on a contract phone for 4 years now.

When you use it at certain times the speed is great but around 4pm onwards its a nightmare. It runs so slow it eventually cuts the connection. Whats worse is it can be a nightmare when it comes to paying bills online because it can have a habit of disconnecting in the middle of a payment. I would only advise using it on a laptop and even then only for surfing or chatting on msn.

Its a back up choice when it comes to needing a connection but I wouldn't recommend switching from Karoo soley to use a Mobile Modem.

I know this is an old subject and hasnt been spoke about for a while,but after slating 3 in an earlier post ,I would like to say that for the last month I have been getting fast speeds with my 3 dongle very fast ,far far better than my karoo ,It seems that 3 have done something to help things ,karoo how ever seem to have reduced things ,this I believe is because I am still on an old unlimited package and refuse to sign for one of the new capped ones.
a torrent speed on karoo is 23-60 kbs ,and 3 is 400-600 kbs
2 years ago karoo was like 3 is now .
