KC scored better for customer satisfaction than BT in this months Which Magazine

1 Utility Warehouse 73% Customer Satisfaction
2 Post Office 58%
3 Tesco 53%
4 Tiscali 52%
5 Talk Talk 51%
6 Virgin 50%
7 KC 49%
8 BT 41%

If KC got their act together, offered decent packages and the option of not having free local calls, they could be in the top 3

I agree entirely, they could easily make Hull the envy of the country.

They could, but unfortunately I think that ship sailed a long, long time ago.

its this like a biased rating?

Wont there be like 100 times more people available to comment on BT's performance compared to one cities worth of users?

Virgin customer service is like dying of aids so clearly having them ahead of KC does give the survey a certain grounding

Not really, it's a percentage of customers satisfied and the whole survey has a mix of big and small companies.

I dont believe this for a second, Everywhere i look i see people that are dissapointed in karoos services. I am yet to see a good review about it

Karoo should offer an unlimited package. i know on the new packages 150gb is a lot per month but some people will still manage to go over this and its soo expensive. They also should drop the prices because £20 for 10mbps is outragous. Other parts of the UK get 24mbps for much cheaper then what we pay for our packages.

Service from karoo isnt bad at all, i can imagine theres a lot worse in the UK but our packages are the main flaw in the ISP. They contiune to roll out new packages but when you look in depht at them, there no better then the ones a year before

There is no 10mbps package available. Unless you meant 10gb but even then it is £16.99 (which incidently is going to 20gb for same price).

nah 10mbps is the max they say they can deliver to my address. Although they might say its up to 24mbps you'll never get that, i dont even get 3mbps

But in all fairness mate it will be simply because your line length is around 2km. Any other ISP would have the same issue.

but for 20 pound a month...i can go to BT and get 20meg broadband + unlimted phone calls for 20 pound. also the broadband from BT is unlimited. Speed isnt the main concern in todays world, its price. Sure having faster speeds is nice but its also nice saving 20-30 pounds per month

Gotta agree with razor, £30 for my top speed of 4.5mb is scandalous.

Anyway wouldn't this survey only aply to Kc's phone services?

It's a survey based on Home Phone services not Broadband, three out of the 10 offer Home Phone services in Hull, Utility Warehouse, Post Office and, of course, KC.

Karoo usually comes bottom or rated 'Don't Buy' in Which? surveys, shame we don't have a choice, KC should really pull their finger out. If a fairly small company like Utility Warehouse can come top why not KC?
