This is getting silly

I am on the max adsl2 package and have done a speed test on speedtest.net and I am getting 6 Mbps so not too bad for a Sunday evening.  I am currently downloading from newsgroups and I am being shaped down to less than 0.5Mbps.

What the hell am I paying 30 quid a month for?

I know my line is fine and if I download after 2300 speed goes to 10 Mbps, I hate being trapped with this rubbish overpriced ISP!!

Sundays are the worse for traffic shaping

I am getting around 250 kbps from Newsgroups and look at speed test results

I can understand some shaping required but this is crazy!!!

Any Karoo staff care to explain?   Even if I got the quarter of that bandwidth for newsgroups I would be happy

Good speed result but only getting half a meg on Newsgroups at the moment,  not even 1/8 of my available bandwidth!!

Anyone from KC want to comment?
