as far as i can see they up everyone limits cost as not gone up i pay around the same price as the karoo mid 3 but looking at my usage limits i would have to go for the pro option but why should i pay 10-15 quid extra for a extra meg in speed

I agree entirely, I won't be upgrading. But with that said I still feel this is a great step out of the dark ages in which Karoo claimed to know what their customers wanted, this is hopefully the first step in US, the customer, shaping the future of Broadband in Hull.

another load of balls from karoo still not swapping
How much do you actually download per month, roughly? Also, what router are you using, and what are your current line stats? Are you using the main socket, and do you have any extensions?

This extra usage is good, just hope the capacity is there to support it

Karoo. You've filled some gaps in your package offerings, I think this is a positive step in the right direction. May I suggest that you allow old Karoo Max customers to change to the new ADSL2+ packages without locking them into a new 12 month contract? I believe that may entice some people in to making the switch.

What about 1.3mb up & annex M? Surely the cost of implementing this would be minimal?
What about reverse DNS??
p.s. what has changed since 2008?
also.. extra transfer for customers, more max customers coming over............... do the math....... SLOW
I ALREADY get slow down at peak. This is just going to be a joke. Thanks KC!

Yea that may help, but there will be a lot of MAX customers with speedtouch modems and other hardware which isn't ADSL2+ capable, so if they take the hardware upgrade they will be on a new contract.
Slightly disapointing to see that the full potential of ADSL2+ hasn't been unlocked, especially for the Pro packages, what about the maximum ADSL2+ upload rate, or Annex M?
Another thing I think they should look into is using ADSL2 (not 2+) on some lines which are quite poor as it still uses upto 1.1Mhz frequency while been capable of offering upto 12Mbit down and 1Mbit up, sometimes enabling ADSL2+ on a bad line (upto 2.2Mhz frequency) causes overall lower connection speeds.

@Karoo Are higher upload speeds to match the full potential of ADSL2+ possible?, 1.3-1.4Mbit - also what about Annex M to enable even higher upload speeds? What about Karoo Pro 3 with no traffic management and multiple static IPs/reverse DNS - £39.99

I see, what about your line stats, you got those? Are any of the downloads after midnight? That's in the unmetered period in both Pro packages.

I'm on the old Karoo Pro unlimited 24*7 package at £29.99, ADSL 2 test show I would not gain any bandwidth on the new packages, Karoo maybe you can tell me why these new packages would benefit me?

I believe that may entice some people in to making the switch. I agree. I'm interested in upgrading, because the Karoo Mid 2 gives me enough bandwidth at the same price I pay now, and hopefully will have less shaping. Karoo have told me though if I move house I can't take the contract because it's not in my name. I have been a Karoo customer since the day they started offering un-timed dialup, why should I (my parents) be forced into yet another contract? I don't want the hardware either, yet if I'm going to be forced into a contract I'll pay the £5 just to have the spare.
