Hi,

is anyone having the same problem as me?

I try to dowload anything (as I'm setting up a new PC its been stuff like driver updates, adobe reader, virus software updates etc) ... the download starts at normal type speed for my connection then after approx 30 secs to 40secs the download just stops dead. If I then open another instance of explorer, I can browse sites still... meanwhile my orginal download terminates as the remote server times out. This has got to be KC's poor bandwith managment??

regards,

Digrus

Hi digrus,

Sounds wierd. Do you think you could dig out your line statistics for us (you should find them in your routers admin page), and perhaps try a speed test at speedtest.net

You might also want to see if this problem is related just to the PC you´re trying at the moment. Do you have access to another PC, and could you see if the problem occurs on that one too?
